Conference Summary 2013

International Scientific Committee, more than 40 professionals in the field of innovative construction, 22 representatives of local authorities of the Malopolska province, 78 speakers, authors of scientific papers from Europe and Asia, 54 papers on a high international level.

This is the number of the first International Conference of Building Innovative Postgraduates and Students 'Inbuild 2013' organized on October 15-18 at the University of Technology in Cracow by the Students Scientific 'INBUD'. Conference, which was held under the auspices of: the District of Malopolska Chamber of Civil Engineers Passive House Institute in Darmstadt and Polish Passivhaus Institut and Renewable Energy them. Günter Schlagowski, International Building Performance Simulation Association, Polish Solar Energy Society, Malopolska Centre for Energy-Efficient Building.

The topic the conference was broad sense innovative construction, associates experts from around the world.

Participants had the opportunity to listen to lectures by authorities: prof. Dorotha Chwieduk, prof. Dušan Katunský, prof. Wolfgang Feist, prof. Mark Bomberg, prof. Tripanagnostopoulos Yiannis, Ph.D. Benjamin Krick, M. Sc. Jerzy Zurawski, dipl ing Günter Schlagowski. The both theory and its practical application, which greatly expanded the horizon to look at innovation in contemporary building.

 

Parallel to the conference, were held workshops and construction, which were carried out by ElWIZ SA - Manufacturer specializing in the production of energy-efficient windows and passive, DLJM System Sp. z oo - Poland's leading building automation systems integrator or Polish Passive House Institute. As emphasized by the participants of the workshop was an interesting alternative compared to traditional design approaches.

At the end of the conference was a tour of the most interesting realizations innovation in the Malopolska region. Participants visited, among others, Poland's first sports hall passive in Słomniki and a gym in Waganowice.

Organizers point out that work is already underway on the next edition of the conference (in November 2015), which range has yet to reach a wider group of scientists, which may allow cooperation between research centers.
